The seminar held at Dartington Hall comprised contributions from Nick Crichton (family court judge) and Judith Harwin (Brunel University) on the drug and alcohol courts initiative in London; Gretchen Bjornstad and Zoe Wrigley (SRU) on the implementation of the KiVA bullying prevention programme in schools in Wales; Miguel Garcia-Sanchez (director of Aldaba) on the development of community services for vulnerable people in Buckinghamshire and the problems raised when private providers go into administration. Other items included an update on the development of the Sequeli training progamme for chairs of child abuse and mental health homicide inquiries; the training of school teachers regarding the emotional well-being of children and the preparation of a paper on the history of the concept of multiple and severe disadvantage.
